Adult Bible Class: The Sunday morning Adult Bible Class will meet from 10:15-11:00. This summer’s study series are two new 6-session studies by Ray VanderLaan: Fire on the Mountain, a study of Exodus, and its follow-up, With All Your Heart.

Bible Sticks: Thank you to everyone who participated in the “FAITH Comes by Hearing” initiative to provide New Testament “Bible sticks” for all the service men and women currently serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. FAITH’s members donated over $1,000.00 which will provide over 40 Bible sticks.

Local Author Rachel Hoffmann will be autographing her book The Forgotten Guardians next week after the 9:00 service. The cost is $12 books are available directly from Rachel or can be purchased through Barnes and Noble and amazon.com.

“What a valuable reminder that while teens may not be known for their ability to verbalize their feelings, they have the same needs as when they were tiny. There is no replacement for Dads attention, love, acceptance, and healthy affection. In its absence, a substitute will be sought. U.S. Military Service Photographs and History Wanted: please help us to honor all of our servicemen and servicewomen who lived in Bridgeport at one time. If you have any family members who have served in any branch of the U.S. Military Service, in war or in peace, male or female, living or not, the Historical Society of Bridgeport would like copies of their photographs, newspaper articles, information, etc., to be placed in notebooks. Any questions call 777-5230 Tuesday-Saturday 1-5pm.

Moments with MOST: Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 30 to meet and greet Carly Stevens, Executive Director of MOST Ministries (Mission Opportunities Short Term) and some of the MOST leadership team. MOST Ministries is a service organization of the LCMS. MOST is based in Ann Arbor but organize and deploy missionaries from all denominations all over the U.S. and the world. Would you like to know more about their work? Would you like to volunteer without driving to Ann Arbor? Plan to join us at the St. Lorenz Churchgrove on June 30. A light meal will be served, so please RSVP. Doors open at 5:30 pm; program begins around 6 and we'll wrap up by 7:30!
